In the early morning of the 23rd, the US Department of Commerce announced that 33 Chinese companies and institutions would be included in the “entity list”, according to Lei Feng. It is reported that after these enterprises and departments are listed in the “entity list”, the U.S. government can restrict the export, import or re export of these institutions according to the “export administration regulations”, which means that the listed enterprises cannot have any business transactions with the United States.

It’s not the first time

But in fact, this is not the first time that the United States has attacked Chinese enterprises.

In May 2019, Huawei and 70 affiliated enterprises were included in the so-called “entity list” of the United States. He said Huawei would not be able to buy components from U.S. companies without U.S. government approval.

In October 2019, the U.S. added eight Chinese enterprises to the blacklist of U.S. trade control, banning cooperation with U.S. enterprises.

Including the 30 Chinese technology enterprises listed in the US entity list, the US has banned more than 100 Chinese enterprises so far.
